• PC Support Technician

Estaff LLC is seeking a PC Support Technician for a contract position with our Austin, Texas client. In this position you must be able to perform self directed work, including receiving, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving end user technical requests.

Must be on-site downtown Austin-1st Shift


Provides answers to clients by identifying problems; researching answers; guiding the client through corrective steps.

Troubleshoot wireless networks and portable devices. (cell phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops)
Provides technical support to users by researching and answering questions; troubleshooting problems
Provide proactive identification and troubleshooting of issues to quickly lead toward resolution or escalation.


Excellent listening, questioning, and analytical skills along with the ability to remain calm under pressure & work in a concise, clear & focused manner are necessary
Ability to understand and assimilate to the organization's culture, philosophy and values
Ability to demonstrate analytical problem-solving skills by balancing the use of troubleshooting tools with a practical application of experience and creativity in minimal time
Ability to understand customer needs and expectations, provide excellent service in the direct and indirect manner, and fulfill customer expectations
Ability to relate to non-technical users in user-friendly language
Ability to gauge one's strengths and limitations, escalating problems when needed, an effort to move self and others forward positively
Ability to manage multiple and sometimes competing for priorities to meet all deadlines
Capable of translating knowledge of approaches, tools & techniques into resolving technical (hardware are, software, application) problems
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in an or organized disciplined and consistent manner
- Must be able to pass a background screen.
- Prefer 1+ years experience Help Desk Professional
- Wifi and LAN Knowledge
- Customer Service Oriented Personality
- Strong written & oral communication skills
- Ability to multitask with a high level of accuracy
- Medium to advanced knowledge of Windows operating system
- Strong desire to learn and ability to be self-directed

The pay rate is $13-$15 DOE
