LAND COURT DEPARTMENT OF THE TRIAL COURT - SUFFOLK, SS. - Case No. 17 MISC 000528 (KCL) - Bank of America, N.A. - VS. - Guaranty Residential Lending, Inc. as successor to Knutson Mortgage Corporation and Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, et al. - TO: any former stockholders, creditors and any other persons claiming any interest in Guaranty Residential Lending, Inc., as successor to Knutson Mortgage Corporation, a dissolved Nevada corporation formerly located in Austin, in the state of Texas, or their heirs, devisees, legal representatives, successors or assigns. - You are hereby notified that a complaint has been filed by the above named plaintiffs in which you are named as an interested party. This complaint concerns a certain parcel of land in Boston, Suffolk County, and said Commonwealth being known as and numbered 24 Burmah Street, title to said parcel is clouded by a mortgage given by George V. Chappell and Kristine N. Chappell to Commonwealth Mortgage Company, Inc., said mortgage being dated October 3, 1986 and recorded with the Suffolk County Registry of Deeds in Book 12932, Page 191 as assigned to Crestmont Federal Savings and Loan Association by an instrument dated March 10, 1988 and recorded with said Deeds in Book 14840, Page 242, as further assigned to Homemac Corporation by instrument dated May 28, 1993 and recorded with said Deeds in Book 18395, Page 104 as further assigned to Knutson Mortgage Corporation by an instrument dated October 1, 1994 and recorded with said Deeds in Book 20073, Page 146, plaintiff alleges that all obligations secured by the aforementioned mortgage have been performed and that it is entitled to a discharge to clear the record and seeks a judgment to that effect. - This complaint may be examined at the Land Court, Boston, Massachusetts, or a copy obtained from plaintiff’s attorney. - If you intend to make any defense, you are hereby required to serve upon the plaintiff’s attorney, Shannon F. Slaughter, of Englander & Chicoine P.C. whose address is 44 School Street, Suite 800, Boston, MA 02108 an answer to the complaint on or before the eighth of January, next, the return day, hereof, and a copy thereof must be filed in this court on or before said day. - If you fail to do so, judgment by default will be taken against you for the relief demanded in the complaint.
